Jacqueline "Jackie" Maxine Craig, 85 years of age from Minden, NE passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at the Kearney County Health Services-LTC in Minden. Memorial services will be on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Minden with Rev. Paul Blanchard officiating. Visitation will be at the Layton-Craig Funeral Home in Minden on Tuesday from 3-5 p.m. Burial will be prior to the memorial service.

Jackie was born on March 13, 1931 in Minden, NE to Verlin and Maxine (Anderson) Stadler. She grew up in the Minden area and graduated from Minden High School in 1949. She attended business school in Lincoln.

On October 7, 1951 she married John "Jack" L. Craig in Minden, Nebraska. They made their home in Minden. Jackie was actively involved with the businesses that she and Jack owned. She was a very hard worker. She enjoyed her family and friends, and loved to play cards, especially bridge. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Minden and several bridge clubs. Memorials are suggested to the church or Aseracare Hospice.

Survivors include two sons, Gregory Craig of Minden and Dave Craig and his wife, Jane of Minden; one daughter, Nancy Exstrom and her husband, Brad of Lincoln; nine grandchildren, Michala Petersen and her husband Mark, Andy Craig and his wife, Katie, Cade Craig and his wife, Michelle, Whitney Exstrom and fiancée Justin Hall, Alicia Exstrom, Samantha Exstrom, Brianna Exstrom and fiancée Jake Kuebler, Dylan Exstrom and Dominik Exstrom.; nine great grandchildren, Myka, Marlie, Merek and Maddyn Petersen; Luke, Drew, and Isaiah Craig; Jonah Craig; and Bowen Hall. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack and her parents.
