Neoma Elnora Younkin, 94, of Minden, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Bethany Home in Minden. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Minden United Methodist Church with the Rev. Peter Choi officiating. The service will be live streamed to the church's Facebook and YouTube pages. Private family inurnment was held prior to services at the Minden Cemetery. Memorials in Neoma's honor are kindly suggested to the Minden United Methodist Church. Craig Funeral Home in Minden is assisting the family.

Neoma was born on June 21, 1927 in Alliance Nebraska to John and Andrea (Kicken) Louden. She grew up in the Sandhills and graduated from Lakeside High School in the spring of 1945. On October 5, 1946 she married Walker Younkin and they lived and ranched in the Mullen area. In 1948 they moved to Newark, Nebraska and started farming and raising cattle. Then in 1966 they moved to a farm near Minden to continue farming and started a feedlot. In 1991 Neoma moved into Minden after Walker's death. She resided there until moving to the Nursing Home. In her spare time Neoma enjoyed singing in the local groups and painting china.

Survivors include her son Steve and his wife Aleda of Lincoln, Nebraska. Two grandchildren, Nicholas and his wife Michelle and their children Adalynn and Landon of Wheaton, Illinois, Kyle and his wife Brittney and their children Lenyn, Leighton and Levi of Lincoln, Nebraska. One brother, LeRoy Louden and his wife Sharon Ann of Windsor, Colorado. Sister-in-law, June Steggs of Imperial, Nebraska; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Neoma was proceeded in death by her parents; husband Walker; son Gary; grandson Daniel; sisters Hannah and Vitaline; two sister-in-laws and 5 brother-in laws.
