Reggie Hess Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Reggie Hess, 71, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022 at his home in Fort Wayne, IN. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday June 6, 2022 at Craig Funeral Home in Minden with PMA Julie Schmidt officiating. Interment will be held following the service at Fredericksburg Cemetery, south of Minden. Memorials in Reggie’s honor are kindly suggested to the family for later designation. Arrangements are under the care of Craig Funeral Home. Reggie was born on June 7, 1950 in Minden, NE. Reggie was a maintenance supervisor in Ft. Wayne, and worked for Dr. Perry Brucker, various apartment complexes and at Hyatt Place in Ft. Wayne. Reggie loved antiques, garage sales, fixing up items and selling them and fishing. Reggie is survived by his wife, Cynthia (Cindy) Bane Hess of Ft. Wayne, daughter Kimberly Hess and grandson Owen, from a previous marriage. Reggie is also survived by his sisters, Kim Nielsen in Colorado, Lisa Cochran in Colorado, Leslie Byzdani in Minden, NE, Marilyn Hess in Kansas; brothers, Bob Hess in Kansas and Raymond Castellaw in Alaska; as well as many nieces and nephews, extended relatives, and friends. Reggie was preceded in death by his parents, Maxine Noltie of Minden, NE and Delbert Castellaw of Fairbanks Alaska. He was also preceded in death by a sister Delaine Goebel of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
