Angeline "Angie" M. Wright, 93, of Hildreth, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 in Lincoln. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hildreth with the Rev. Caroline Schenk officiating. The service will be streamed to the church's Facebook and YouTube pages. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation or book signing. Memorials in Angie's honor are kindly suggested to the Hildreth Library, Hildreth Volunteer Fire Dept., Trinity Lutheran Church, or to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Arrangements are under the care of Craig Funeral Home in Minden.

Angeline Mae, daughter of Otto and Minnie (Quadhamer) Frerichs, was born on August 7, 1930 in Franklin County, NE. She grew up in the Hildreth area and graduated from Hildreth High School in 1948. She attended Kearney State College and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education. Angie married John Schwartz in 1952. Their only child, Kay, was born in 1953. Kay and her husband, Rich Vonderschmidt, have two children: Amber and Corlan.

Angie taught school for one year in Bertrand and 42 years in the Hildreth Public Schools. She enjoyed reading, church activities, listening to music, and visiting with her grandchildren.

Angie was united in marriage to Austin Wright on December 3, 1971. Austin had four children: Cindy, Jan, AJ, and Nathan.

Angie is survived by Kay (Rich) Vonderschmidt; Corlan (Katie) Vonderschmidt and their children: Bowen and Jeda; Amber Gazga and her children: Ali and Ashton; Jan (Jim) Fruhling and their children: Chris, Keith, and family; Cindy (Reyes) Velarde; Nathan Wright and children: Doug, Kelsey, and family; AJ Wright; as well as a host of extended relatives and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and both husbands.
