Obituary
Aten Eric Olsen, 44, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at the Josie Harper Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Keene Evangelical Free Church in Keene, NE. Pastor Matt Snell will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow the funeral at the Keene Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Layton-Craig Funeral Home.
Aten was born in Holdrege, NE on September 27, 1972. He graduated from Axtell Community School.
Aten worked as a skilled tradesman for Hawkins Tenant Finish Incorporated. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially in Estes Park, Colorado and watching anything related to the Cornhuskers, Chicago Cubs, and the Denver Broncos.
Aten is survived by mother Kay Olsen, father Cal E. Olsen, siblings Adina and husband John Bell, Amelia and husband Chris Addington, and Calvin W. Olsen; nieces Alyssa and husband Arsalan Chisty, Olivia, and Emily Bell and nephews Isaiah Bell, MacMillan, Benjamin, and Elliott Addington, grandmother Mary Ann Erickson, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Keene Evangelical Free Church.
