Brandi M. Steinkruger, 54, of Upland, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Private family inurnment will be held at Macon Union Cemetery. Memorials in Brandi’s honor are kindly suggested to the family for future designation. Arrangements are under the care of Craig Funeral Home in Minden.

Brandi Marcel Steinkruger was born on April 11, 1972, in Hayward, CA to Larry and Linda (Carter) Cosgrove. She grew up and attended school in Modesto, CA.

She was united in marriage to James G. Steinkruger on July 2, 1994, in Las Vegas and to this union, two children were born: Dylan and Emma. The family made their home in Upland, where she worked at various places.

Brandi loved spending time watching her children race, as well as following NASCAR. She liked traveling to many different places for races and to visit family. She also took pride in watching Emma show sheep and cows in 4-H.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Jim Steinkruger of Upland; son, Dylan Steinkruger of Lincoln; daughter, Emma Steinkruger (Brody Fischer) of Hastings; mother, Linda (Howard) Harmon of Tonto Basin, AZ; siblings, Jeffrey, Heather, Greta, Larry, William and Billy; step-mother, Laura Cosgrove; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Cosgrove.
