Charlene A. (Work) Dieterich, 79, of North Las Vegas, NV, passed away on October 26, 2017 at the Life Care Center of Las Vegas. The family has honored her wish for cremation and will hold private memorial services at a later date. Inurnment will be held in the Upland Cemetery in Upland, NE. Craig Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Charlene was born on February 27, 1938 to Warner W. and Velma E. (Crawford) Work in Denver CO. She grew up in California and later married Richard Dieterich. The couple did not have children. Richard later passed away.

Charlene's family, the Work, Andersen, Hansen and Christensen families have been laid to rest in Upland Cemetery since the 1800's along with numerous other family members with different last names. The Work family farmed in the Upland area for many years. Charlene will be buried next to Maria Work, her great-grandmother. Other relatives of the family are buried in the Fredericksburg cemetery.

Charlene was Secretary/Treasurer and Business Manager for various Ford Dealerships for nearly forty years. She lived the last 20 plus years in Cottonwood, AZ.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Vicki Ponce of North Las Vegas, NV; nephew, Phillip Peinado of North Las Vegas, NV; great-niece, Pristine Encinas and her son Xen of Cape Fair, MO; cousins, Nadine Beck of Springfield, MO and Gaylord Crawford of Hastings, NE as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Charlene will be long remembered by all. Memorials are suggested to her family for later designation.
