Dale M. Krull, 87, of Kearney, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at St. John's Good Samaritan Society in Kearney. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Kearney with Rev. John Rasmussen and Rev. Duane Duley officiating. The service will be streamed to the church's YouTube page. Private family inurnment will be held at the Minden Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dale's honor are kindly suggested to the Holy Cross Lutheran Church for Christian education. Arrangements are under the care of Craig Funeral Home in Minden.

Dale M. Krull was born on November 19, 1937 in Glenvil, NE to John and Leta (Stulken) Krull. He grew up in the Juniata area and graduated from Juniata High School. Dale entered the United States Army National Guard where he faithfully served from June 8, 1959 to June 7, 1965.

He was united in marriage to Laneta "Lee" Augustin on February 12, 1961 at Peace Lutheran Church in Hastings and to this union three children were born: Kevin, Jeff and Brenda. The family made their home in Minden where he worked for Farm Bureau Insurance from 1966 to 1980, he then opened and operated the Krull Agency until retiring June 1, 2000.

Dale was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Minden and Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Kearney. Dale enjoyed gardening for the Jubilee Center in Kearney and serving as a volunteer for Good Samaritan Hospital. He also enjoyed woodworking, spending time at the lake and with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Lee Krull of Kearney; son, Kevin Krull and his wife Julie of Minden, their children and grandchildren, Spencer and Regina Krull (Raelyn, Bexley and Teegyn), Quincey and Will Miller (Willow and Oliver), and Cody and Lindsey Krull (Kooper, Collin and Cam); daughter, Brenda Wiltfong and her husband Scott of Grand Island, their children and grandchild, Riley and Taylor Wiltfong (Callan), Carson and Sydney Wiltfong, and Kalee and Garrett Schardt; sisters, Lola Thiel and her husband Ray of Omaha, and Karen Bellefuil and her husband Phil of Chicago; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Leta; son, Jeff Krull; sisters, Betty June and Velda Schutte; parents-in-law, Loyd and Virginia Augustin; brother-in-law, Roger Augustin.
