David L. Rask, 69, of Minden, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at Kearney Regional Medical Center – Bryan Health. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Minden with Rev. Donald Hunzeker and PMA Julie Schmidt officiating. The service will be streamed to the church's YouTube page. Interment will be held following the service at the Minden Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the church. Memorials in Dave's honor are kindly suggested to the family for later designation. Arrangements are under the care of Craig Funeral Home in Minden.

David Lee Rask was born on August 15, 1954 to Milton F. and Rosella M. (Wagnitz) Rask in Harvey, ND. He grew up in the Minden and Oxford area where he graduated from Oxford High School with the class of 1972.

Dave worked mainly in construction, traveling to a lot of different areas with his brother, Bruce. He also resided in Florida for a few years where he worked as a truck driver and tow truck operator. Dave eventually moved back to Minden to help care for his parents in their later years.

Dave was confirmed at Bethany Lutheran Church in Minden. He enjoyed watching football, especially the Washington Commanders (Redskins as Dave preferred). He especially enjoyed being around his children and family. He will be remembered as always laughing.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Toby Rask, Cody (Bailey) White, and Stephen Rask; daughter, Helen (Tyler) Fisher; grandchildren, Ariana, Bryce, and Artemis; brothers, Bruce Rask and Rick (LaRayne) Rask; sister, Kathy Chamberlain; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Jerry Chamberlain; sister-in-law, Elaine Rask; granddaughter, Ashley; and nephew, Chad Miller.
