Dawn M. Anderson, 64, of Minden, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, at St. Lukes Good Samaritan Society in Kearney. A celebration of life open house will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026, at The Windmill Studios in Minden. Memorials in Dawn's honor are kindly suggested to the family for future designation. Craig Funeral Home in Minden is assisting the family.

Dawn Marie Anderson was born on March 12th, 1961, in Minden, NE to Donald and Karol (Albers) Sinsel. Dawn grew up in the Minden area and attended school there as well. After graduating Dawn had various jobs but most notably was her job at A1 Heating & Air, where she worked for over 20 years. In her spare time Dawn enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, doing stitch work, and baking cookies. Some called her "the cookie lady." It was something that she deeply enjoyed doing. Dawn was a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend and for that she will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

Dawn was preceded in death by her mother Karol (Albers) Sinsel.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Nichole Anderson; grandson, Orion Anderson; father, Donald Sinsel; siblings, Tim and wife Michelle Sinsel, Teresa and husband Scott Nelson, and Jennifer and husband Justin Czaplewski; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.
