Deborah S. Olson, 71, of Minden, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Bethany Home in Minden. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025 at First Christian Church in Minden with PMA Julie Schmidt officiating. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date at the Minden Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Craig Funeral Home in Minden. Memorials in Deb's honor are kindly suggested to First Christian Church of Minden or the Memory Care Unit at Bethany Home of Minden. Arrangements are under the care of Craig Funeral Home in Minden.

Deborah S. Olson was born on April 23, 1953, in Holdrege, Nebraska, to Roger and Luanne (Christensen) Johnson. She grew up in Minden, Nebraska, where she attended the Minden Public School system before continuing her education at the Lincoln School of Commerce.

On September 6, 1975, Deborah married Philip Olson, and together they built a loving home in Minden, Nebraska. Their union was blessed with one son, Scott Olson. Deborah was a dedicated professional and spent many years working at the First Bank and Trust of Minden. She was also an active member of her community, contributing her time and energy to the First Christian Church, the Minden Rotary Club, and the Minden Chamber of Commerce.

Deb, as she was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those she touched throughout her life. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished grandmother. More than anything, she loved her family fiercely and found her greatest joy in the time spent with them.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Phil Olson of Minden, Nebraska; her son, Scott Olson, and his wife, Jennipher Olson, along with their three children, Landon, Ryley, and Joslyn, of Kearney, Nebraska; her brother, Matt Johnson, and his wife, Deneen, of Hastings, Nebraska; her sister, Sarah Scott, and her husband, Mike, of Burwell, Nebraska; and her nieces and nephews, Brett Johnson, Jordan Scott, Jadyn Scott, Bradyn Scott, Luke Johnson, and Libby Garrett. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Luanne Johnson.

Her legacy of kindness, faith, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. We ask that you remember her for the way her life was lived and the profound impact it had on the lives around her.
