Germaine June (Einspahr) Casper was born to Clinton and Jennie (Wolzen) Einspahr on June 17, 1929, at their home south of Hildreth, NE. She graduated from Hildreth Public Schools in 1946. She enrolled for one year at the Lincoln School of Business - Lincoln Business College where she studied bookkeeping. Germaine married Aaron Casper on June 18, 1950, one day after she turned 21 per her parent's decree. The married couple moved to a farm two miles north of Hildreth where they would reside. Wife/Mother extraordinaire, she was always putting everyone else before herself. She was blessed with the ability to always look at the positive side of a person in any situation. During her child rearing years, she worked for Schwartz Insurance Agency in Hildreth as a secretary/administrative assistant and the Hildreth Public Schools as a secretary.

Being the person she was, when Aaron started driving the school bus, she would often go with him and make coffee in the cafe and socialize with anyone who entered. This led her to her next employment adventure as a waitress at The Long Branch Cafe, then Clint's Tavern. She was a faithful member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church where she sang in the church choir and also performed special music for various events. She suffered a severe stroke during a huge thunderstorm the night of July 1, 1999, that debilitated everything but her spirit. Her husband took care of her for the next eight years until his physical demeanor could no longer allow. She then entered Mount Carmel Nursing Home in Kearney, NE, where she spent her remaining years enjoying playing cards, bingo, music cerebrations and visits from family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Faylin (Steve) Linden of Kearney, NE, Robin (Joyce) Casper of Lenexa, KS, and Tandra (Mike) Nutzman of Kearney, NE; brother, Glenwood Einspahr of Boonville, MO; sister-in-law, Jan Einspahr of Norfolk, NE; and brother-in-law, Lee Mills of Minden. Germaine leaves six grandchildren, Dane, Collin (Danielle) and Tray Henricksen, Blair (Katie) Nutzman, Matthew (Heidi) Casper, and Kelsey (Alan) Keller and three step-grandchildren, Kevin (Holly) Linden, Todd (Sarah) Linden and Christa (Tyler) Anderson; as well as seven great-grandchildren and eleven step-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Aaron, brothers Dallas (Rita) and Glendel, as well as sister-in-law, Eloise. Father and Mother-in-law, Paul and Motjie Casper, sister-in-laws, Ardella (Paul) Coon,
Velma (Lawrence) Anderson and LaVada Mills.
