Gregory G. Werner, 66, of Minden, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at his home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026, at the Minden Cemetery with Rev. William Zwick officiating. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Greg’s honor are kindly suggested to the Minden Little Free Pantry. Arrangements are under the care of Craig Funeral Home in Minden.

Gregory G. Werner was born on October 24, 1959, in Minden to Donald G. and Patricia A. (O’Neill) Werner. He grew up in the Minden area, attended Norman Public School through 6th grade, and graduated from Minden High School in 1978.

Greg loved to hunt with his grandfather and father. He was a skilled woodworker and carpenter, and a talented automotive mechanic.

Greg is survived by his sister, Gayle (Rod) Smith of Pleasant Dale; brother, Tim Werner of Minden; nieces, Lindsay Smith, Alicia Smith, and Erika Smith; and nephew, Matthew Werner; as well as a host of extended relatives and close friends.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Pat Werner.
