Jamie M. Kruger, 40, of rural Minden, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026. Private family services were held. A memorial fund in Jamie's honor has been established for her children's education and contributions can be sent to: Kruger College Fund, in care of Bruning Bank, 1110 17th Avenue, P.O. Box 2407, Kearney, NE 68848. Arrangements were under the care of Craig Funeral Home in Minden.

Jamie Marie (Borg) Kruger was born in Omaha, Nebraska on May 11, 1985. In 1986, her family moved to Stuart, where she attended St. Boniface Elementary School and later graduated as Salutatorian from Stuart Public School in 2003. Jamie went on to graduate with honors from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.

While in Kearney, Jamie met Owen Kruger and stood faithfully beside him during his military deployments. After Owen returned from his service, they were married in 2012. Together they built a life centered on family, travel, and shared adventures. In 2014, they welcomed their son Nolan, followed by Sadie and Kolter. Jamie cherished raising her children and chose to step away from her role in the PCU at a Kearney Hospital to focus on her family. During this time, she also completed her Master's Degree in Nursing, graduating in 2021.

Jamie loved family time and the memories they created together. She enjoyed trips with her family, pontoon and Pioneer rides, and the annual Borg-a-palooza gatherings at the lake in Stuart. She was a devoted Husker volleyball fan and loved trips to Omaha with her best friend Jordan, often bringing their kids along for the fun.

In recent years, Jamie dedicated herself fully to supporting Nolan, Sadie, and Kolter—helping with nightly homework, managing busy schedules, encouraging their academic success, and getting them to and from their many activities.

On February 28, 2026, we tragically lost a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Jamie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Please keep Jamie and her family in your prayers.

Jamie will be remembered for her brilliant mind, compassionate heart, and the deep love she had for her family, friends, and the life she built around them.
