Jennifer Lynn's Obituary

Jennifer Lynn, 62, of Arnold, Nebraska, passed away on November 4, 2025, after a courageous three-month battle with stage 4 brain cancer. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials in Jennifer's honor are kindly suggested to the family for future designation. Craig Funeral Home in Minden is assisting the family.

Jennifer Lynn was born on November 27, 1962, in Dallas, Texas, to David and Sammy (Jackson) Lynn. She graduated from Adams Central High School in 1981 and continued her education at Central Community College. As a farmer's daughter, she proudly participated in the Adams County 4-H program and earned the honor of Adams County Sirloin Queen. During high school, she was active in the fine arts and a member of the drill team. Her love of art remained a constant throughout her life, and her passion for creating—especially through drawing, painting, and beadwork—led her to become a gifted artist.

Jennifer began her long and dedicated career with the State of Nebraska at the Hastings Regional Center in 1987. Over the years, she touched countless lives through her work and compassion, retiring in October 2025 as a Child and Family Services Specialist with the Department of Health and Human Services in North Platte, Nebraska.

A loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, Jennifer's life was defined by her kindness, dedication, and gentle spirit. Her compassion extended to her deep love for animals—especially her horses, dogs, and cats—and her presence brought warmth and comfort to those around her. Many of Jenny's fondest memories were those spent camping with her family, especially with her cousin, Tammy. Jenny lit up the campground with her laughter and love of the outdoors. That same joyful spirit carried into every part of her life, especially in the time she spent with her family. Above all, her grandsons, Thad and Katch, were her greatest pride and joy. She was their biggest fan, always cheering them on, sharing adventures, and celebrating every milestone.

Jennifer is survived by her parents, David and Sammy Lynn of Glenvil, NE; her brother and sister-in-law, John and Sherri Lynn of Ayr, NE; her sister and brother-in-law, Andrea and Tim Marker of Ayr, NE; her son, Justin Mousel of Assumption, NE; daughter and son-in-law Samantha and Brent Hall, and sons Thad and Katch, of Lakeside, NE. She is also lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews—Sarah, Brent, Brody, and Zoe Sexton; Brian, Janice, Julie, Aubrey, and Jamison Lynn; Madison and Elli Marker—along with her aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends who made up her "tribe."

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gordon and Addy Lynn of Hastings, NE, and Tim and Frances Jackson of Cambridge, NE; uncle Roy Patterson and cousins Tim Patterson and Tom Patterson, all of Cambridge, NE.

We will remember her for her compassion, her giggles, and her steadfast heart. Her love for family and animals, her dedication to helping others, and her courage in the face of cancer leave an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
