Jerry L. Dyke, 65, of Minden, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025, at CHI Health – Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date at the Minden Cemetery. Memorials in Jerry's honor are kindly suggested to the Nebraska Game and Parks. Craig Funeral Home in Minden is assisting the family.

Jerry Lynn Dyke was born on October 17, 1960, in Minden, Nebraska to Dennis D. and Donna M. (Davidson) Dyke. He grew up in the Minden area and graduated from Minden High School. He worked several jobs, mostly in the contracting and construction trades.

Jerry's hobbies included going fishing, watching football, and spending time with friends and family. He was fiercely independent and unbreakable, having a very strong will and letting you know exactly what he thought.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother John Dyke, and nephew, Robert Jenner.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Jolene Jenner of Virginia; niece, Sarah Brandt and husband Jacob of Minden; great-nephew, Anthony Brandt of Minden; uncle, Roger Moreau of McCook; as well as a host of extended relatives and close friends.
