Julie Ann Hesting, 72, of Denver, CO, formerly of Minden, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019, in Denver, CO. Graveside services were on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the Minden Cemetery with the Rev. Sharon Rees officiating. Memorials in Julie's honor are kindly suggested to the family for later designation. Craig Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Julie was born on August 20, 1947 in Waterloo, IA to Eugene R. and Betty (Rogers) Craig. She grew up in the Minden area and attended school at Minden High School.
She was united in marriage to George C. Hesting on May 28, 1988 in Lakewood, CO, and to this union two children were born: Clint Craig and Timothy Brent. The family made their home in Denver, CO, where she was a homemaker.
Those left to cherish her memory include: her husband, George; sons, Clint C. (Kayleen) Tyler of Denver, CO and Timothy B. Hesting of Denver, CO; daughters, Angela J. (Janecke) Bruckner of Lakewood, CO and Amy B. (Jim) Elliott of Hesston, KS; Daughter-in-law, Bobbie Hesting of Littleton, CO; step-daughter, Amy Jo (Jason) Anderson of Derby, KS; step-son, John Paul (Karen) Hesting of St. Petersburg, FL; eight grandchildren; brothers, James Craig of Minden, NE and Thomas Craig of Arvada, CO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Betty Craig, and her son, Brent L. Bruckner.
