Kevin was born on December 16, 1967, in Kearney, Nebraska, to Gary and Joyce (Lambrecht) Jameson. He was raised in the Upland area and graduated from Minden High School with the Class of 1986. He later graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1990 with a degree in Agricultural Sciences. After college, Kevin returned to central Nebraska, where he farmed and steadily grew his operation.
On September 6, 1997, Kevin married his one true love, Kerri Olson. Together they raised three children. Kevin's greatest joy was his family. He was a constant and enthusiastic supporter of all of his children's activities and proud of their accomplishments. He took great pride in becoming a "Bampaw" in recent years.
A dedicated and passionate farmer, Kevin worked the land near Upland and Kenesaw. He never knew a stranger and would talk farming with anyone who would listen. In recent years, he took special pride in farming alongside his son, Chris. Farming was more than his livelihood; it was his calling and his way of life.
Kevin was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Kenesaw. He was an avid Husker fan and a strong supporter of Minden Whippet activities. His booming voice and boisterous laugh will be missed greatly.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lilia & Otto Lambrecht; Merwin & Mary Jameson; and step-grandmother, Wilma Jameson.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Kerri; his children, Katie (Spencer) Fahey of Minden, Christopher (Kerrigan) Shelton of Minden, and Caden Jameson; his parents, Gary Jameson and Joyce Landrigan; his brother, Brad (Pam) Jameson of Kenesaw; his sisters, Deanne (Chris) Birkestrand of Minden and Carrie (William) Antlitz of San Diego; his grandchildren, Nash, Jack, and Lily Fahey; and many nieces, nephews, family members, friends, and his loyal yellow lab, Bailey.
Kevin will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
