Kevin Yerian of Franklin, NE passed peacefully at home Monday evening, December 23rd. Kevin was born in Long Beach, California. He lived in Yorba Linda, CA where he graduated from Troy High School in Fullerton, CA and studied music at Fullerton Community College.
Kevin became skilled in the masonry trade and worked construction in California, Arizona and Colorado. Kevin relocated to Colorado in the 1993 where he met his wife Stacey. They married and made their home in Wellington, CO. Kevin owned and operated a masonry business the Northern Colorado area from 1999 through 2016. They moved to Franklin late in 2016.
Kevin loved and participated in many outdoor sports including competitive dirt and road bike racing, snowboarding and skiing. But his favorite sports were hiking, fishing and hunting. Kevin also loved gardening and working on vintage electronics. He was an accomplished musician and performer and he and Stacey led worship in various churches in Northern Colorado and worked alongside a non- profit prison ministry for ten years in state and local facilities.
Kevin is preceded in death by his next oldest brother and father. He is survived by his wife, daughter, grandson, mother, three brothers and two step sisters.
A memorial service will be held in Northern Colorado later in the spring. Donations can be made in his honor to Ascera Care of Kearney, NE or the American Cancer Society of America.
