Linda Lou Jacobsen, 71, of Minden, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Kearney Regional Medical Center. Memorial services will be held on Friday, August 7, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Minden Evangelical Free Church with the Rev. Tom Barnes officiating. Private family inurnment will be held at the Norman Cemetery. The service will be streamed to the church's YouTube channel and the funeral home's Facebook page. Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Craig Funeral Home in Minden. Cremation will take place following the visitation. Current health recommendations for faith based services will be followed and the use of a face mask is encouraged. Memorials in Linda's honor are kindly suggested to the Kearney County Health Services Foundation or Bethany Home in Minden. Craig Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Linda was born on May 14, 1949 in Minden to Edgar J. and Myrtle B. (Mann) Jacobsen. She grew up in the Minden area, and attended school at Minden High School and Queen Anne's Beauty School. Linda worked at the Kearney County Hospital for 20 years and at Bethany Home for 15 years before retiring in 2019.

She was a member of Keene Evangelical Free Church, and enjoyed drawing, plants, reading the Bible and just maintaining what God had provided.

Those left to cherish her memory include her brothers, Dale (Celesta) Jacobsen of Phoenix, AZ, Leland (Annette) Jacobsen of Cool, CA, Rollie (Evelyn) Jacobsen of Norman and Chuck (Rebecca Miller) Jacobsen of Minden; sisters, Joyce (Ellery) Peterson of Kearney, Terrie Gould of Minden and Sandy Danielson (her twin sister) of Minden; as well as a host of extended relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Pete Jacobsen, Harriet Samson, Kenny Jacobsen and Bob Jacobsen.
