Marion K. Bodey, 50 years of age from Minden passed away on Sunday, February
12, 2017 at his home in Minden. Memorial services will be on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the E. Free Church in Minden with Reverend Tom Barnes officiating. Layton-Craig Funeral Home in Minden is in charge of arrangements.
Marion was born on September 4, 1966 in Lamar, CO to Harry and Lucille (Yaeger) Bodey. He graduated from Holly High School in Colorado in 1984. He married Jody Riley of Kearney, Nebraska. They made their home in Minden. Marion loved being a famer in Colorado and when they moved to Minden Marion worked for the City of Minden. Memorials are suggested to the family for medical expenses.
Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Jody Bodey of Minden; step children, Chris Galas and wife, Heidi of Gothenburg, Julie Galas and fiancé, Tee Wood of Omaha and Nicole Galas of Omaha; grandchildren, Annalemaye, Stephen, Skye, Trevor and Tristan; brother, Curtis Bodey and wife, Carla; sister in-law, Michelle Mosley and husband, Paul and their three girls, Kersten, Kelsee and Lucy and other family members.
