Marlin George Beck of Lincoln, formerly of Minden, passed away peacefully at the age of 92 surrounded by his family. A memorial graveside service will be held at the Minden cemetery on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 2:00 pm. with PMA Julie Schmidt officiating. A celebration of life fellowship gathering will be held at the Minden First Christian Church following the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to People's City Mission or Grand Lodge Scholarship fund. Craig Funeral Home in Minden is assisting the family.

Marlin was born on December 27, 1930, to George and Emma Beck in Minden, NE.
His many pleasures in life included bridge, poker, puzzles, reading and especially spending time with family and friends. After retiring from farming, he kept busy volunteering at Bryan East, Hospice Services, City Mission, and Nebraska State Patrol.

He is survived by his son, Tom (Clare) Beck; daughter, Deb (Brian) Schur; daughter-in-law, Theresa Beck; and his many nieces, nephew, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Donna (married 71 years); son, Dan Beck; brother, Rodney Beck; sister-in-law, Janice Beck; brother-in-law, Jim Bjorklund; and nephew, Marc Beck.
