Nyles Jace Sanders was born Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings. The youngest child of Kiowa L. and Mary R. (Cardenas) Sanders of Minden. He peacefully entered into rest a short time later with his parents by his side. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Craig Funeral Home in Minden with PMA Julie Schmidt officiating. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials in Nyles' honor are kindly suggested to the family for later designation. Arrangements are under the care of Craig Funeral Home in Minden.

While he was with us only a short time, his impact will remain steadfast in our hearts. His name was chosen to help bring healing to those that need it most, as Nyles means "river" and Jace means "to heal".

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents; brother, Kallum Sanders; maternal grandparents, Wendy Cardenas and Paul Cardenas; paternal grandparents, Hayley Wiggins and Mark Sanders; as well as a host of great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended relatives and close family friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmothers, Bonnie Howell and Amelia "Millie" Cardenas; paternal great-grandparents, Curt and Gayla Bissell; and paternal great-great-grandparents, Pat and Meredith Moore.
