Patrick L. Gardner, 68, of Minden, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at his home. There will be a celebration of life open house held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024 at The Windmill Studios in Minden. The family requests those in attendance to wear casual attire. Memorials in Pat's honor are kindly suggested to the family for later designation. Craig Funeral Home in Minden is assisting the family.

Patrick Lee Gardner was born on October 31, 1955 in Omaha, Nebraska to Donald M. and Doris J. (Relph) Gardner. He grew up in the Omaha, Kearney, and Minden area. He was a graduate of Minden High School with the class of 1974.

Pat was united in marriage to Joyce Jean Johnson on April 4, 1975, in Minden, and to this union, two sons were born: Nicolas and Dallas. The family made their home in Minden where Pat was employed for many years with Morton Buildings and Wardcraft Homes. His hobbies included woodworking, fishing, and gardening.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Joyce of Minden; sons, Nicolas Gardner (Alexis) of Tucson, Arizona, and Dallas Gardner (Brandy) of Minden; mother, Doris Walker of La Porte, Indiana; grandchildren, Hailey and Madison Gardner of Tucson, AZ, and Isabel and Lily Gardner of Minden; brothers, David Johnson (Vicki), and Sean Johnson (Amy); sisters, Michelle Saunders (Jim), Peggy Nelson (Marshall), Rose Haite, and Dora Talbot (Ryan); sister-in-law, Mary Luberda (Terry); brother-in-law, Richard "Rick" Johnson (Della); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Michael Gardner, and Gene and Janice Johnson.
