Richard V. Spray, 61, of Norman, NE passed away at his home on December 24, 2017. Private family services will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation as the family is honoring Rick's wish to be cremated. Craig Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Richard Virgil Spray was born on November 30, 1956 in Bridgeport, NE to Glen A. and Virginia M. (Frickey) Spray. He attended school in the Trenton area and later attended college for construction technology in Sydney. He worked in the oil fields around Trenton and then at Bethany Home in Minden for seven years. He later worked in the construction field around the area. Rick enjoyed golfing, being outdoors, working on pickups, going for drives in his pickup and spending time with friends and family.
Survivors include his mother, Virginia Spray of McCook, NE; two sisters, Judy Hay of Trenton and Vickie Christner and husband Mike of Hayes Center, NE; nephews, Brian and Matthew Christner and one niece, Megan Christner, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Rick was preceded in death by his father, Glen Spray.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
