Scott Alan Maxon was born on May 6, 1956 in Minden, Nebraska to Adrian “Snowy” M. and Eleanor V. (Becander) Maxon. He grew up in Minden and attended Minden High School, graduating with the class of 1974. He grew up riding dirt bikes and playing in the junk cars behind Maxon Motors which later became Auto Way Bowl where he spent a lot of time as well. Scott found a passion for playing guitar at a young age, which led to his involvement in multiple bands as well as writing/recording several of his own songs. He was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Following his high school graduation, Scott worked for Morton Buildings. He later obtained his real estate license and became a real estate broker from 1989 to 2016. He also worked in the grocery business for close to 29 years. In August of 1989, Scott was united in marriage to Julie Consbruck and the couple were blessed with two boys, Brandon and Blake.

Scott was later united in marriage to Christine Delaine (Edwards) on July 14, 2002. With this union, he became a stepfather to Devon, Danae, and Dane. He was a devoted husband to Delaine to the very end. Scott and Delaine owned and operated Max N Dee’s Spirits for many years.

Scott was a loyal friend to many and truly enjoyed practical jokes. He was a humble entertainer and a fun father. He loved spending time with his children and took pride in protecting the people he loved. He also enjoyed motorcycles.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Delaine of Minden; son, Brandon and wife, Ege Maxon of Minden; stepchildren, Devon, Danae, and Dane of the St. Louis area; brother, Howard and wife, Colleen Maxon of Minden; sister, Kelly Mills of Minden; niece, Brooke (Mills) and husband, Joe Lundeen; nephews, Paul Maxon, Luke Maxon, and Spencer Mills; as well as a host of extended relatives and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Snowy and Elly Maxon; son, Blake Maxon; brother-in-law, Lon Mills; niece, Ann Mills; and nephew, John Maxon.
