Wayne Henry Beinke, 90 years of age from Minden, NE passed away on May 10, 2016 at the Kearney Regional Medical Center in Kearney. Wayne was born on June 20th, 1925, in Wilton, Iowa to Henry Beinke and Fannie (Mohr) Beinke. He was the oldest of 4 children. Wayne graduated from Wilton High school. After graduation he enlisted in the marines and served his country proudly in WW2.

On Oct. 31st, 1964 Wayne was united in Marriage to Mary Smith , of Glenwood, Iowa. To this marriage one child was born. Kelly Joe Beinke .

Wayne had 4 children and 4 step-children. To a previous marriage were born Michael , Sherri, and Becky

Survivors include his wife, Mary of Minden; son Kelly Joe Beinke, Michael, Sherri and Becky; step children, Rick Smith, Randy Smith and Tracy Smith; brothers, Richard Beinke and wife, Betty and Larry Beinke and wife, Janet and sister, Barb Stamford and husband, Jim. He is preceded in by step-daughter Cathy.

Wayne was a wonderful grandfather to his many grand children .

Memorial services were on Monday, May 16, 2016 at the First Christian Church in Minden at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. James Gordon officiating. Burial was in the Minden Cemetery with Military Rites provide by the Minden American Legion and the Heartwell VFW. Latyon-Craig Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
